Studio One is based in Farringdon and features a control room and two live spaces.  It is perfect for full band work.

The address is: 12 Cock Lane, Farringdon, EC1A 9BU.

The control room is a large mastering grade room with a custom made 1970 BBC vintage recording console. There is a choice between a Protools rig with SSL convertors, or for analogue recording a 2” twenty four track Otari MX80 tape machine. Monitoring consists of Barefoot Micromain 27’s plus NS10’s running from a Bryston B3 amplifier.

The main live room is 7x5m and fitted with wooden sound panels that bring warmth and energy to recordings. It has clear lines of sight to both the control room and our spacious natural sounding booth.

The studio combines stacks of high-end vintage analogue equipment with modern digital recording tools. The selection of live spaces allows great sonic flexibility, and a variety of performance setups, from total isolation to intimate performances in one space.

Tim has a huge selection of musical instruments and amplifiers, from the late 1950s to the present day, for use at no extra charge.
